International Students studying at Ball State will be covered for sickness and injury while they are in the United States. You will automatically be enrolled in the insurance unless you can provide proof of comparable coverage. If you have insurance that will cover you in the United States and meets the minimum requirements you can click the ‘Waive Now’ link below to be taken off of the Ball State Plan.
The waiver site will be open from August 1st, 2015 and will close on September 12th 2015 for the Fall Semester. It will be open again in December for Spring Semester.
Study Abroad Students will automatically be enrolled in the HTH Insurance whenever they are participating in a Ball State program abroad. An ID card and instructions on how to register at hthstudents.com will be emailed to you. Please print the ID card and keep it on you in a safe place.

You can also call HTH’s Global Health and Safety Team [1-800-257-4823] to schedule an appointment, get a prescription filled, or just to talk to someone about a medical issue that you are having.
